She’s Our Hero Award: This Award honors those in public finance who give tirelessly of their time and talents and expertise to improve their communities and serve as an inspirational role model to the public finance industry and WPF members. Claire Goodman Rising Star Award: This Award honors emerging leaders in public finance under 35 and with seven years or less professional experiencewhose record reflects ongoing and exceptional growth in contribution to the profession and increased levels of leadership, responsibility, and sphere of impact. Lifetime Achievement Award: This award honors outstanding leaders with at least 10 years of documented accomplishments in the field of public finance who have had a significant impact on a large number of individuals and organizations. The Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor bestowed upon an individual by Women in Public Finance
Process: WPF members* are invited to nominate women they feel are deserving of one of the above Awards. Nominations must include a detailed description of the nominee’s contributions to public finance and be submitted through the official nomination form. Self-nominations are not accepted.
