The 2011 WPF Founders’ Awards were held on January 18, 2011 at the Encore Lounge at the Allegro Hotel in Chicago.
The awards and recipients are detailed below:
- WPF “Lifetime Achievement” Award – given to the woman involved in the public finance field for 10 years or more who has consistently demonstrated skill, drive, integrity and vision.
Awarded to Martha Mahan Haines, Securities & Exchange Commission, Washington, D.C.
- WPF “She’s Our Hero” Award – given to the woman who manages career, self-development, family issues and civic involvement – all at the same time.
Awarded to Natalie R. Brill, City Administrative Officer, Los Angeles, CA
- WPF “Rising Star” Award – given to the woman involved in the public finance field for 10 years or less whose work demonstrates skill and intelligence for long-term impact in the field.
Awarded to Samantha Costanzo, Jefferies & Company, Chicago, IL
